Nothing, our commission is paid by the purchaser of the number.

We do not work on commission, but fix an uplift on the return price agreed with the owner.

Yes! However it is worth remembering that the price we suggest is based on a true market value that we believe your registration mark shall achieve.

No! Your vehicle will be automatically issued with an age related plate during the transfer procedure. You are not charged for the standard replacement mark.

Payment shall be made in full after the transfer procedure has been completed and all documents have been acquired from the governing bodies. Normally a deposit is sent at the beginning of the transfer process. Completion is indicated by notification to Car Marks of the replacement mark for the donor vehicle and proof of the same.

You may cancel your agreement at any time by email, telephone or in writing. Cancellation must be made prior to us finding a buyer for the registration mark.

Vehicles must be currently taxed, or in the process of being taxed. The application will still be considered, however, where the last tax disc expired within six months of the date of application. If you were the registered keeper of the vehicle at the time when the MOT was valid, you have up to six months from the expired date of the MOT to transfer the mark.

NO – DO NOT dispose of the vehicle until the application has been fully completed and you have received the amended registration document(s). If you dispose of the vehicle too soon, you may lose entitlement to the cherished mark.

Upon completion of the transfer Car Marks shall arrange for a replacement mark to be assigned to your vehicle and notify you of the same when the time comes to affix the replacement plates. Your vehicle shall receive a mark appropriate to the year of first registration.

We advertise weekly in motoring publications and daily newspapers such as The Auto Trader, Top Marques, Sunday Times, Saturday Mail, Daily Express and Telegraph as well as extensively on the internet.
